Passport Requirements
Your passport should be valid for the required period covering your intended Vietnam E-Visa stay. The passport details entered in the application must match the passport exactly.

- Clear, readable passport biodata page
- Accurate passport number, name, date of birth and nationality
- Clear machine-readable zone (MRZ) where applicable
- No blurred, cropped or partially hidden passport information
Passport Photo
A recent passport-style portrait photo is required for the E-Visa application.
For a smoother application, provide:
- Clear front-facing photograph
- White background
- No hat or glasses
- Good lighting and clear facial visibility
- Photo meeting the application system's image requirements
The official Vietnam E-Visa instructions specify a front-facing portrait without a hat or glasses and with a white background.
